StubHub tricks customers into spending more on tickets by hiding fees until just before purchase, prosecutors claim
StubHub is being taken to court by Washington DC's attorney general in a major lawsuit which sees the ticketing giant being accused of 'drip pricing,' an illegal practice of deceptively hiding the true price. The action is in violation of consumer protection laws in DC, AG Brian Schwalb said this week. 'StubHub intentionally hides the true price to boost profits at its customers' expense,' he said in a statement.
