A Wyoming fugitive's convoluted con which bought him 40 years as a free man fell apart when his passport renewal application was linked to a dead man. Stephen Craig Campbell, 76, was arrested in 1982 after he allegedly planted a bomb inside a toolbox at the doorstep of his 'estranged' wife's boyfriend's house in Wyoming, according to the US Department of Justice (DOJ). The deadly device exploded when his wife opened the box - setting the home and the next-door property ablaze.
