The Outlaws (BBC1) Rating: Stephen Merchant is a lucky chap. Despite a tight budget, his crime caper The Outlaws has welcomed back its A-list superstar — not Christopher Walken, of The Deer Hunter, but Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning. When this ensemble comedy-drama, about a bunch of petty felons mixed up in a drugs heist, first aired in 2021, Gunning was a respected character actress, best-known for the supernatural Arctic thriller Fortitude.
