Aussie cricket star Usman Khawaja has revealed the hilarious background story behind teammate Mitch Marsh's very rude nickname. Khawaja, 37, and Marsh, 32, have played many Tests together for Australia - but the gritty opening batsman was confused when he first heard the all-rounder referred to as 'Titta' instead of his commonly known nickname, 'Bison'. 'I used to bat [in the Sheffield Shield] against Western Australia and Bison [Marsh] would be bowling at me,' Khawaja told Backchat in a clip uploaded to TikTok.
